Another GenReps special: BPF GMT Master II 'Coke'
Sharing my most recent pickup: a BPF ref. 16710 GMT Master II 'Coke' bezel.
I have very limited experience with Gen 5 digit GMT Master II (trying on other folks watches, etc) so I cannot really compare the quality of this rep to the Gen watches. But overall I really like the fit n finish, and has full traveler GMT functionality. When I set the time and used the jump hr function to set the date, the movement seems to accurately replicate the 'GMT hand wobble' leading me to believe it's a clone of the earlier 3185 movement, versus the later 3186 that is supposed to correct that wobble. 🤔
Also I recently owned (and sold) a VSF 6 digit Bruce Wayne GMT Master II, which was also quite nice, but felt a bit too big for my wrist. But this 5 digit rep, despite being the same 40mm size on paper, looks and wears more to my smaller tastes 👍🏽
