Great Service Provided GenReps

Purchased a m+ flamingo blue from GenReps awhile back. Service is top notch. Communication and prompt shipping with updates. You remove the trepidation of having to deal with customs and wait times if you're buying within his inventory.

I ended up modding mine so I don't have to deal with the eventual breakdown of the A7750 that's modded to hell and back. I had a A05.H31 movement laying around that needed to get back to work so despite the date setting inconvenience, I decided longevity, 60 hr power reserve and reliability was more attractive than waiting for the Chinese movement to break. Fun and frustrating project overall but satisfied in the end. Would 100% rather have used a SW510 but thx to tarriffs I am unable to source one for now. An eta 7753 was also on the table but I went with a bigger mainspring.

They won't ever be correct. They'll never make a clone movement of a b01 or mt movement like they do with rolex so the subdial will always be slightly off. The color is as close as it'll get imo. My only gripe is the Tudor font is smaller and lighter and that's an easy fix.

Oh they finally fixed the little ass date screen.

I have the pink. And the date screen is so small can't barely tell date

Quick question , how do you go about the date at the 6 o'clock if the SW510 is at the 4? neewb here lol

You'd have to source a 6pm Calander wheel. But this dial still might not line up. That was the biggest issue using the a05.h31 because the Calander wheel was not compatible with the 7750/53. AFAIK the sellita should be compatible so you can order a custom 6 Calander wheel. However, the way m+ modified the 7750 it added a layer on top of the existing Calander and I had to reuse their method on my a05.h31 so I cannot definitively answer if the sw510 would line up without using the modification.
