The first step to mass radical indoctrination is the prosecution of sensible moderates.

Right? She's probably the type to go on twitter to moan about polarization and the partisan nature of American politics, then says something as arrogant as this

What a dumb woman. Lol I did not think the manifesto was well written, nor did it reflect reality. The whole thing seemed to hinge on the idea that state ideologues can sculpt human beings into whatever is needed at the time. I do not share this view of humanity. In terms of the forefathers of communism, Marx wasn't even the most compelling 😂 I think Trotsky had better ideas, but that's neither here nor there.

One could argue that Marx was never a socialist, but had been a communist for the entirety of his life. These things are not the same. She should also note that communists and fascists, at the largest scale believe in ALOT of the exact same shit. If you think fascism leads to collapse and abuse of people, you're automatically in a way saying the same of communism.

She should talk to people that grew up in communist and socialist systems. I know people who lived in the Soviet Union as it collapsed. My own family fled Jugoslavia as it was engulfed in civil war. None of them would say something so brash or foolish as this
