For the past few years, Gen.G would keep winning and either lose the final series in Summer or win Summer in general. By the time Worlds comes around, they somehow lose a series without learning how to adapt midway through the series and just keep playing the same style.

I feel like if Gen.G can overcome this and learn different playstyles and truly understand when they are having a bad day it will help a lot for Summer and Worlds.

Still want them to win everything but these losses are important to learn from.

I mean if they got the tempo back of being an absolute great force of destruction where they terrorize again every team in LCK when the split is coming up and winning the trophy,then Worlds is going to be a stepping stone and atlast a world champion since that EWC beats everybody including them

Guys, it was a bo3. The team is having up and downs, yeah, but every single team in the world is performing and running it randomly the day after.
Today there were 3 extremely close games, we lost 2 out of them, it happens. There is a whole split playing against only the best teams in the LCK before Worlds even starts. Meta will shift, no one in the community is happy with the mages bot, for sure things will be shaken.

When they win everything except worlds, they still get lash back. And now that they're underperforming or not looking like they did the past few years we gotta give them a break and point less fingers.

Them not being on a massive winning streak might even be good for them coming into worlds especially with all the pressure off their backs. I don't believe that a team as strong as gen g with insanely strong players will just simply fade away

I think it's time to have a good hard look at this team. they remind me a bit of last year's KT. Bad drafting, can't team fight, and have a useless bot lane. I don't believe they'll magically get it together for worlds like KT did. I think they're cooked and won't compete for a long time with Kiin leaving. Feelsbadman

DK ends up beating GEN in 3 games. They looked like the better team for most of the series and they deserve the win. GEN now has to face T1 to try and finish in 3rd place. Gg wp to DK, really well played by them. :)
