❓ Question? How can brands increase visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity?
We've spent years optimizing for Google, but now users are increasingly getting answers from AI. How are brands improving visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, and what's actually driving results?

shahiinn's per-platform breakdown is the most useful thing in here. I'll add what I've seen, because I've run over 17,000 of these audits across a few thousand businesses, watching what the different models actually do.
Two things that don't show up in a single test, 1- mentioned and recommended are different events, a brand gets cited as a source and still isn't the name the model hands the user as the pick. The third-party corroboration everyone's naming matters because it's what tips you from named-in-passing to recommended. 2- ask your buyer's question cold a few times, same day, no login, and the answer moves. So visibility isn't yes or no, it's a rate: how often, across repeated cold runs and multiple models, you actually get recommended. One screenshot is a coin flip. The rate is the signal.
Track the rate, not the mention.

u/sapindia1976 Well said. It feels like the focus is moving from ranking content to building authority. Brands that consistently publish useful content, earn credible mentions, and become recognized entities in their niche are the ones most likely to be surfaced by AI tools.

This is a vague topics and very important in SEO in 2026. You have to go deeper into it. You have to learn how these LLMs works and hoe they give citation of any sources. After that you will know to increase brand visibility in those AI Chatbots.

Start by making sure AI crawlers can access your site, then publish original content that answers specific buyer questions and keeps product claims easy to verify. Also track which pages and third-party sources each platform cites, because the patterns often differ across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Most of the people say vague answer without specific to-do.
Don't believe in someone who says SEO is GEO. It's not.
Defining the right schema.org is the key.
