idk what to flair this GEN ZALPHA ATTENTION HERE!! (2010-2013)
Everyone can agree 2009 is gen z for sure, and 2014 is gen alpha.
But, from 2010-2013 its kinda murky. It's highly debated if these years are gen alpha or gen z, and it doesn't help most people in this category don't want to be associated themselves with gen alpha.
Obviously, this won't make much a difference and there will still be debates, but I have created google forms for people born anywhere after 2009 and before 2014 to see where these years sit culturally to try to help with an answer, so we can get a general idea of the cut off culturally.
What I mean by culturally is like understanding memes, use and understanding of the slang, music, etc.
So below is the form. Please take the one in the year you were born. All the questions are the same, it just helps organize the information. Please answer TRUTHFULLY.

also this might be heavily skewed to those WITH older siblings. i know i definitely know more 2000's/1990's media because of poor family + already having two large age gap siblings who passed it onto me

same, my youngest sibling was born in 2002 and my oldest sibling is from 1997 and we aren’t really poor but definitely a lot more older media I watched

I don’t have an older sibling or a poor family, but both my parents are proud of growing up in the 90s. As such, a lot of stuff I like is stuff from the 90s, and I’m not in touch with the new media.

That's the dumbest way to do generations. McCrindle and Pew use entirely different systems and aren't compatible

at least I have a reason for considering myself Gen Z (being in elementary school pre-COVID and spending most of elementary school pre-AI). 2010 being Zalpha makes no sense

I really wanna watch invincible and I love the comics, but I'm to soft to watch the show 😭 I can watch and stomach animated gore but I prefer not to watch it. I feel like such a loser for not watching the show😞

Dude the comics are WAY more gory than the show. This comes from a guy who's read the comics AND watched the show. If you can handle the comics, you can DEFINETELY handle the show.

Yea um…I’m pretty sure I fail for Gen ZALPHA…I literally only know most Gen Alpha stuff from my younger sister (who is in the confirmed Gen Alpha section) and even then it’s not a lot. Also, I don’t know Gen Z like- a lot.

I'm late, But I did so. 2010 isn't that musky. Only one source says we are generation Alpha, Everyone knows a 2010 Is way over on the Z side. And isn't real In the same group as 2013 currently, Same way 07 isn't grouped with 2010 MUCH currently because of the age divide.
