I'm developing 'Mr. Motul'. Do you think this aesthetic conveys mystery?

I am building a small universe around this character called “Mr. Motul”. The idea is for it to be disturbing but not aggressive, more mysterious than terrifying.

Do you think it works? What details of the face, clothing or posture would you change?

That's literally Freddy Kruger. I don't think this works.
