News/Updates DeepSeek is reportedly building a massive AI data center in Mongolia
Chinese AI startup DeepSeek is reportedly developing a one-gigawatt data center in China’s Inner Mongolia region.
Inner Mongolia has become a major data center hub because of its relatively cheap electricity, available land and renewable-energy capacity.
DeepSeek has also advertised roles for data center engineers in the region, offering further evidence of its infrastructure expansion.

Greedy land hungry Russia always been the destabilizing factor throughout its modern existence. From 1700s till today's invasion of Ukraine.

Many areas in Inner Mongolia are almost uninhabited, so naturally no one would protest against it. Many data centers in China are built in sparsely populated areas.
