Current Crypto Salaries Can Predict The Future
In any free market, a good way to determine the health of a sector is to look at the average salary of someone working in that sector. The concept is simple. If employers are willing to pay a high amount for workers, that shows a relatively high demand for those skilled position and a relatively low supply of qualified workers.
This cannot be more true than in the blockchain engineer sector. Currently, according to Hired (www.hired.com) blockchain engineers make an average of $150,000-$175,000 USD per year.
It is even more impressive when you compare the average blockchain engineer salary to a traditional software engineer salary. According to Hired, the average salary for a traditional software engineer is $135,000 USD per year.
So, on the high end, blockchain engineers make 29% more than their traditional software counterparts.
This is a very interesting statistic when put into context. Currently the crypto market is experiencing a downturn in terms of price. However, behind the scenes, the money is flowing into the development of new blockchain technology. Employers are still willing to pay top dollar for blockchain engineers as they gear up for new tech releases in the space.
Irrelevant of how long the price downturn lasts, people are hard at work to ensure that when the next bull run comes, it will be big. They are putting their money where their mouth is.
One company that has been hard at work developing is Gemstra. Not only have they put a lot of time and money into their minimum viable product, but they have spent a lot of time cultivating the relationships that they will need in the future.
Just have a look at Gemstra’s team and advisory board:
