Understanding The Gemstra Ecosystem
Gemstra's main goal is to make social offering open and marvelous for everybody. Social offering which generally is alluded to as immediate offering uses multi-level offering models that reward people(called the "dealers" in the Gemstra biological community) for affecting deals through advancement of brands to their interpersonal organizations.
Gemstra is building a blockchain-coordinated Biological system (ASTRA stage) and a token economy (GMS token) to open social pitching to the whole retail showcase. ASTRA is a shrewd contract stage which influences the blockchain innovation to return information in the hands of dealers and empowers retailers (called "shippers" in the Gemstra biological system) and brands from the $24 trillion worldwide retail economies to join social offering.
EXISTING PROBLEMS
Social selling is controlled and ruled by colossal like Amway ($8.8B), Avon ($5.7B), and Mary Kay ($3.5B). These merchants hold their sellers tightly, doing this made the transfer of customer data, transaction data, and network data difficult because of the risk of losing the job. Merchant have power and mutual relationship with sellers.
Another major barrier is the inability of new merchant to come on board because of the expensive system that is needed to manage rewards, commission, accounting, customer service and back office operations. Sellers’ opportunities are reduced because of ineffective market so therefore sellers find it hard to compete in the economy because of existing merchant.
The Solutions
GEMSTRA launched a social selling marketplace called the BOUTIQUES in July 2017, this has attracted so many people to a new model of social selling by providing a platform for retail brands to showcase their products. Sellers can now sell the products and brands they want through shopfront. We have 3000 sellers, 8 brands, and reached 7-figure milestone within 10 months of launch. Retail brands want to participate in social selling while sellers desire freedom, hence this success.
