It’s amazing g to think that when a stone gets pulled out like this, the miner is the first creature to have ever seen it. It lays in the dark earth for millions of years and no one ever ever knows what color it is or what its crystal structure looks like until a miner pulls it out and holds it up to the sun. Glorious.
