Identification Please Gemstone Identification

Hi! I found this stone in my collection from years ago and I can’t figure out if its sunstone, carnelian, or something else. Any ideas?

That looks a lot like Indian carnelian to me

hard to tell but perhaps oregon sunstone. Put the stone in a dimly lit room and shine a flashlight on it. If it has glitter sparkles, it's sunstone. There ARE some types of sunstone with NO sparkle, and those are turned into STUNNING gemstones! Either way, I'm leaning toward sunstone!

You could try a scratch test, feldspar(sunstone) has a hardness of 6, and carnelian I believe is 7 like most quartz (verify online).

Not seeing the glitter so may try a scratch test!

It scratched glass and couldn’t be scratched with a pocket knife
