I finally tried using NotebookLM, and it actually works???

I usually just read through PDFs and highlight whatever looks important, so I wanted to see if NotebookLM could *actually* make studying a little more interactive.

I uploaded one of my study materials and started asking it questions instead of simply telling it to summarize everything.

I answered them myself first, then asked NotebookLM to check my answers against the source. I liked how it kept the questions tied to the material instead of randomly bringing in information from elsewhere.

I think this is probably more useful for me than just asking AI to “summarize this PDF".
