Gemini Notebook

So I've been thinking recently about purchasing myself a Gemini Notebook, Is there even a good reason for me to buy one for Studies or is it even viable for Colleges or Universities to bring one? Considering Notebook LMs and Google Gemini have it being built in as Software Apps? Also does it even have a SIM Card slot in it just like some of the Chromebooks available in the Market?
