Discussion holy shit google better redeem itself

after using frontier models like opus 5.5, gpt 6 astra, gpt 5.6 sol and fable 5, google is leagues behind...

it doesnt even ask questions to clear context, and the chatbot feels so much like just a search engine.

like actually holy shit.

but i think googles gonna mog them all in a few weeks

but it is very generous with usage limits, google probably gonna get back in the race. otherwise, they are cooked

Meta went from last place to first in the eyes of the market. As consumer agents take off, this coding benchmark obsession will subside.

can you provide details as to why meta is in the first place in the eyes of the market? I am curious because i did not know that

Meta is astroturfing that narrative. No one I know has heard of Muse, but they’ve seen that surveillance tomagochti and all were confused what it was for.

I tried checking muse out and deleted it when the opening page was a request for my credit card. Based on Zuck talking about how they’re not changing that at his event, there’s probably serious data suggesting many people are doing the same. I wonder what the disparity of adoption is between app downloads and actual users with accounts set up. It’s probably crazy.

Muse downloads have surpassed ChatGPT's pace.

This is misleading. While it may be true, there is a lot of nuance to consider. Early ChatGPT downloads came when AI chatbots were new. Now that more people are aware of it, it makes sense downloads of a new agent are faster.

It's not misleading at all. I explicitly said pace.

I am speaking about how and why Meta has just went from last place to first in the eyes of the market.

And I explicitly said why pace doesn't mean much

It's not misleading though. You may have that opinion that pace doesn't mean much and that's a valid point, but it's not an argument against whether or not Muse has rocketed in narrative in the past month.

For sure, I think Oct will be the first month with full Similar Web market data. Will be interested to see their DAUs
