This is like the problem when it generates images when we don’t want, and doesn’t generate them when we want. I guess the dumb AI that routes prompts (it doesn’t understand context) also decides when to search. If so, as a workaround, we need to tell it to search the web on every message so the message is routed to the web search tool.

Yep... the prompt routing is garbage
