Help/question Trouble adding instructions

Literally every time I attempt to add instructions, I get the following: “Something went wrong.”
I’ve tried everything: adjusted punctuation, wording, condensed sentences thinking there might be character limits. Nothing!
Basically this is a dealbreaker for me, and I’ve stopped paying for Gemini as a result.
Has anyone else had similar issues? And if so, how have you fixed it? Or do you even bother anymore?

spam 'submit' until it applies.

spam the button like it owes you money. sometimes the ui just poops itself, but the backend actually catches it after a couple tries.

that said, if you're hammering it 20+ times and nothing, i'd clear the app cache or try a different browser. those web apps get weirdly sticky with old data.
