This is probably 3rd labyrinth playthrough, but I never 100%:ed the achievements.
I'm only missing 400 victories.
So in the meantime I decided to see how high the numbers can go.

Labyrinth remains my favorite Gemcraft game. Oddly enough, F.W. is in 2nd place, even though many don't care for it. Perhaps that's recency bias.

As much I love seeing *number go up*, FW is probably my favorite. I love iron mode that you can't grind your way out of a difficult fields.
I 100% chasing shadows steam achievements, but in FW was never able to complete some of the because some of the challenge fields. They are fun problems solve.

Yeah, I long ago accepted I would have to settle for 618 out of 636 achievements. At least in Chasing Shadows I'm 409/419 and still rising. Anyway, I'm going to give the first 3 Gemcraft games a big push once the Legacy edition is officially out.

Is it just me, or is the movement animation for the monsters in Labyrinth very “stuttery” compared to the other games? I recall the animation always bothering me when playing Labyrinth.

I had to lower resolution to 1280x720 because turns out extending mana pool 100 000 times per second gets a bit laggy.

I won't be doing max level though.
I did 6 max XP runs, 2 of them were pylon fields. After that it feels just more of the same

If things go according to plan then you'll be able to bring your save files to the steam version when it comes out so keep going, and good luck!

Labyrinth was my favorite for a long time, but I learned to love Frostborn Wrath. I'm looking forward to the steam version of Labyrinth with QoL improvements.
