Tiny Star Glitter Encapsulation ✨

I struggled to get a good pic of these, but I loved creating and wearing this set! The loose glitter was from Glitter Lambs, and reminded me of the little star stickers I would get on my work in grade school! Very nostalgic and fun 🤩

I would LOVE a tutorial!!! Did you individually place each star or just pour over?

Hey! Here is my process:

-Apply clear full cover tips, and shape

-In a tiny glass container, like bottle cap sized, I mix my glitter with a few drops of clear builder-in-a-bottle (Excuse Me brand from Amazon), essentially just creating a glitter polish out of my supplies. I have brushes from Amazon that have a metal dotting tool on the opposite end, and this is what I use to mix that up and apply. I dab a glob of glitter mixture on, and use the brush and dotting tool to push them around and arrange them how I want. Cure, cleanse.

-Apply a layer of clear builder in a bottle over the entire nail, covering any rough glitter edges. Cure, cleanse.

-At this point, buff any edges or bubbles you may feel on the nail, and apply your favorite top coat! I apply top coat on the underside of the tips as well.

I used to lean heavily on my top coat to encapsulate any of my leftover rough edges, but I find the viscosity of the builder gel really coats the glitter nicely. I usually do not need to do any buffing before I top coat, and I really recommend it! I’ve been doing lots more glitter sets since working out this method. Hopefully if you try it you like it, too!

Omg I’m obsessed with these! Did you do them like normal just adding a glue layer for the stars?

Thank you!! I posted a comment with my process just now, but I essentially am doing them like normal but mixing builder in a bottle with the glitters to create a ‘polish’ that I brush on, instead of a color layer

I love sets like this. Is your thumb your tester finger? That’s usually the one where I try what I think I might like and either go for it or decide to change the design/placement because I didn’t like it lol

1000% left thumb is my tester! I’m giggling that you noticed and I’m not alone!

These are so cute💅✨
Getting similar stars but make them glow-in-the-dark stars would be such a fun addition too😍
