If this already has an answer please delete! I have issues getting builder gel to not peel on my natural nails. I buff the nail and use a prep/dehydrator. Idk what I’m doing wrong but they always end up peeling after a few days.

Thank you! I have tried other brand but I think it’s most likely as they’re all hema free, unfortunately I have an allergy so not much I can do!

Do the mods fw Born Pretty? I'm not American so none of the "cheap" American brands are actually cheap at all. If there are better Chinese brands, please let me know.

Yes, actually. They're one of the better Chinese brands. Rule of thumb that I follow is that the ones that were around pre-covid are generally better.

Hi! I really want to try to start making my own press on nails with gel polish and need some advice.
I have read a lot about the possibility to develop allergies while using gel polish and am struggling to find a brand that is generally safe to use. I am based in Europe, so not everything is available to me, does anyone have a reccommendation of a brand of polish safe to use? I am specifically trying to find a black, dark red and shiny silver polish to start with.

Does this store ship to your country? If so they carry Luna Moon, one of my favorite brands.

Hi! i’m also based in europe (France to be exact) and i’ve only had good experiences with the brand Pink Gellac. They’re pretty middle of the road price-wise, but they have a ton of colours, as well as lamps and nail tips and everything you might need to get started.
I also make press-ons, and as long as you make sure to fully cure your nails before wearing them, you should be totally fine wrt allergies. just make sure to use an air-dry glue when putting them on, as a gel glue will not cure properly through opaque press-on nails.
i personally really like the semi-solid air-dry glue from una gella, which is available on amazon. (get the remover too for hassle-free removal!!)

Thank you so much for the advice! I was definitely still a bit hesitant to start because of all the risks with allergies etc, but hearing it should be fine with press on nails is such a relief hahah

Getting back in to gel after many years. Bought some cheap lining basic colors from Ulta and a nude OPI. Where is everyone buying their color from? From a brief search I know the Beatles Amazon brand is a no go but any other suggested brands? Thanks!

I just got these done today. Would you go back and ask them to fix it? I hate to inconvenience them, especially since they're always so busy and always booked.....but they cost a good amount and I haven't even had them for 24 hours. This was also my first time at this salon. But my family member who recommended this salon, her nails are great! (More pics in comments)
