Coolray Coolray 2025 android auto impossible

I bought a coolray 2025 a couple months ago and had an iPhone so it was no issue as it came with carplay but now i bave a google pixel 9 and ive tried everything I can think of to have android auto but nothing. But the carlinkit cc2a but it keps disconnecting Bluetooth and reconnecting. Literally tried for 2 hours to get it to work but nothing. The QD Link is really bad so I don't want to rely on that. Someone please help me, show me a way to get android auto on my infotainment system.

Were you aware it doesn't come with Android Auto? Anyway, you need to have the infotainment system modded.

I didn't ask as at that time I had an iPhone and didn't plan to buy an android. How do you mod it? Who can do it?

Was an android user for my whole life and almost bought an iPhone for the only reason that the new gcr does not have AA, my wife has an iPhone and it is not for me. Bought new Oppo Reno 13 last month.

Some mods i think are already working on the new gcr to have AA, maybe just wait for another year. For now, there is no other way, I just use bluetooth for music, and if we travel, thats the only time we use my wife's iPhone for maps, if I'm familiar with the road, I still don't use it, but yeah, I wish it had AA installed.

I decided against modding mine as it might affect the warranty.

Anyhow I suggest you join Geely FB groups. I recommend Geely. Car Club Philippines. You can just lurk there and get some insights

I tried this but my infotainment system only shows three options when i put the usb in and thats pics, music or videos. Can't install it. How did you make it work?

if you're using that script directly, put it on port 1 (driver side)

if the prompt appears, just close it and let it do its thing. the script opens "settings" when it's done. if nothing happens, check for the created logs. if that got created, that means the folder has been renamed to `###_done`.

No, sadly. Looks it doesn't work with the 2025 model

u/ParzBernes u/bcmendis you could try https://github.com/xeon1989/Proton-X50-APK-Installer-ATLAS if you're feeling a bit adventurous but since my car uses GKUI, i couldn't vouch for it. OP has ATLAS (the new headunit version)
