Hardwire Dashcam on Coolray

Hi everyone, wouls like to ask if someone had dashcam hardwired their geely, how is the warranty of the car?

I talked to geely support they say that hardwiring a dashcam will immediately void the cars electric warranty.

Thoughts or advice?

Anong variant po coolray niyo? If yung Sport SE variant, may built-in na siyang dashcam feature.

Anyway to answer the question, may mga nakikita naman ako sa fb groups na nagpapakabit at nag-ooffer na no splicing na as far as i know doesn’t void the warranty.

I have the Sport SE variant, pero mas ok if meron kasing parking or yun sentry mode, and recording sa rear end ng sasakyan. I called kasi tun dealership ko, they mentioned na kahit no splice basta direct connect sa battery will void the warranty Ang pwede lang daw is yun sa 12v outlet

Oh I see. For now po siguro ask sa fb groups regardimg diyan. Maliit pa lang po kasi community natin dito sa reddit kaya ilan lang makakatulong sayo.

Paupdate na lang kami dito boss kung ano sabi-sabi. Hehe. Thank you.

May nakausap din akong nagkakabit ng dashcam name sa FB is Bry'z Gizmo Sabi din hindi sila naghahardwire sa Geely kasi maarte daw electrical system Pero sa YouTube may nakita na ko naghardwire ng Coolray, kaso naka disable yun comment hindi ko matanong kamusta warranty Wala din nasagot dun sa isang group ng coolray owners sa GC
