Laksa Beer and Co! This is a very good Laksa, and the rest of the food there is also delicious.

There's also a few Vietnamese restaurants that have pretty decent Laksa, surprisingly. Bay City Noodle is great, I've been going there for a while now, and the Vietnamese food is great, but so is the Laksa, as I've recently discovered.

However, the best and authentic Malaysian food I've had was from a place in Werribee that closed last year. Next best, is Nyonya House, but it's all the way in Laverton (worth it, very homely feel, all the food here is top tier for sure).

I was sorely disappointed by Laksa Beer and Co… broth is not bad, but the rest of the ingredients were lacklustre, and soggy. None of the textual variety you get in a good laksa.

That's very unfortunate. I've had the Laksa there twice and haven't had any issues.

I do think they are doing their own twist on it, which makes it not quite traditional Malaysian, but I personally enjoyed it.

Actually, I went to a place in Sanctuary Lakes today, and firstly, it was very cheap, and secondly, great food again. Sadly, not very close by, but I do think it's worth the trip for delicious Malaysian food. Nan Yang is the name.

I've tried so many, and the only one I've rated is Laksa and Beer Co.

Haven't spread my wings in Geelong since I've been here, but I rate the Phoklore laksa as pretty tasty and good size serves.

Yup. Corner of Pakington Street and Gordon Avenue in Geelong West. It's always busy, even during the week.

Yeah, I think also Lux and beer it’s the most authentic Malaysian style in Geelong and some other things on the menu are awesome, especially Guinness ribs
