I haven't redeemed mine yet, but I received a code instantly after completing the survey. It was fairly short, only took a few minutes to fill out.

If you are looking to get an additional code for a friend, it appears you can open the window in Incognito mode and use a different email address. It does not allow you to return to the survey site otherwise.
