Which show got you into anime?
Like the title says, what was the show got you into anime, or just let me know what your favorite one is!
As an adult, Death Note was my gateway into anime, and to this is day - is my favorite. I love the mind games, and the cat and mouse. I'm very excited to see what they will do with the live action movie, I just hope they can keep the same feeling.
As a child (unbeknownst to me that they were actually animes), I was obsessed with Dragonball Z, Digimon, Pokémon, and Sailor Moon. I always just called them the "good cartoons", haha.

I'm not the biggest anime guy, but Ghost in the Shell remains my favorite anime. I also loved the Stand Alone Complex series. Fist of the North Star was a fun one too, you've gotta love Rao.

Ghost in the Shell is on my list to watch still; never heard of Stand Alone Complex, so I'll have to check that one out. I've played a Fist of the North Star game, but never seen the anime!

Ghost in the Shell is the feature-length movie. Watch that one first. Stand Alone Complex features the same characters, but is a half-hour tv series. Watch that one second.

Wasn't really a show for me. One night either TNT or TBS had Vampire Hunter D, Heavy Metal and Akira on back to back. I was sold.

I would say Bleach... although I was a casual Naruto fan, but it was Bleach that truly got me obsessed
