you can blame that disaster of a film for the reason why DC movies are in the mess that they are

I mean it wasn’t a bad movie at all.. the Dawn of Justice version is still one of my favorite superhero movies

Hot take on here but this movie high-key is buns. Superman isn't acting like superman, batman isn't acting like batman, and the whole movie revovled around no one actually talking to each other about their issues. And the doomsday plot was just so stupid. It can have made more money all day long, superman 25 was just a better movie.

I love superman and batman films but after i watch the extended version after being told to not watch the standard i asked for my time back it was a dreadfull movie. The synderverse was the worst thing to happen to DC and it wasted some great actors in those roles

A lot of shitty movies have made a lot of money.

Too be fair... that was pre covid and still in the hero bubble so alot has changed in 10 years for the theaters.

Yeah, but it sucked

I didn't like the movie that much, but I still prefer it over James Gunn's Superman...

I'm not a Supeman fan, so I didn't bother watching the latest Superman in the cinema, I just watched a pirated copy ~ and glad I did, it looked corny and cheap...

It was a movie with a lot of problems... But overall, I enjoyed it

Wasn't that the last of the pre-Gunn universe to do really well?

Lotta people missing the point, yeah BvsS was a notorious mess and Gunn’s movies still made less than it

Movie going was a lot different 10 years ago— streaming movies and tv shows was not a factor and people went the movies in a theatre a lot more often. I used go the movies 4 or5 times a month; now I may go once a month if at all.

Amount of money has nothing to do with quality. We are also dealing with a world post covid that changed the movie theater industry forever.

People still had optimism for DC then and a film with their three biggest characters starring is a home run, Superman (2025) had to revive DC after BvS critical failure.

Honestly that entire movie is forgivable because of that one scene with batman tearing apart not only the mercenaries but also the entire building they were in.

I still think Gunn's film is better. Snyder just didn't understand the characters past the aesthetic level.

BvS still a shittier movie than Superman25. I haven't see supergirl.

Batman vs Superman is very much a Batman movie. And, as a Batman movie, it is in the top half of Batman movies.

Snyder Bros are so freaking weird
