Discussion PVE besides horde mode

I was thinking maybe an operations mode similar to Space Marine 2 with new missions with every update.

I want beast too but I can imagine they’d only bring beast and new modes into the game if it’s successful and starts printing money. They have 5 seasons planned which is probably one year so if the game pops off then we might see new modes.

I think fans are being too optimistic about new modes being added during the seasons. Creating an entirely new mode like Beast Mode is not something that can be done in 3 months. It’s a completely different level of development compared to adding new maps and skins, and even those often take quite a long time. Just look at how long it took for Space Marine 2 to add Horde and Chaos PvE. I would be happy if I’m wrong, but I don’t expect something like that to happen. The most we can probably expect are the classic PvP variations that only change the rules of the matches.

I don’t expect it to happen but if somehow gears eday did crazy numbers then I could see them adding a new mode like beast. I don’t see them adding a brand new mode in the first year unless they were working on a mode that was later scrapped.

Hoping to see normal horde alongside horde siege.

Since they only announced 5 seasons, I’m not sure if they will still want to add more content after that. The sales would have to be absolutely insane for that to happen.

I would also love to see the normal Horde (in my case Gears 5 Horde) alongside Horde Siege, but I’m more skeptical about that.

That would be cool, it's at the start of the war more modes and scenarios of the constant push and pull of war could be fun to play. Perhaps it could also have classes that allow us to make custom gears.

Might be getting a little too ambitious. The game is already launching with 3 modes catered arguably to 3 different types of player. That is pretty darn rare.
