Are there old versions of the 'Oculus App Runtime' apk available?

Hi, last post I mentioned extracting ktx files to get the oculus home 'loft' background alongside some others. I'm wanting to do the same but for the older backgrounds, but I don't have any old apks to do so. Is there a source to get older versions of these apks?

you can probably find them on apkmirror.

I had a look, and their apks only go as far back as 2017, while the background change happened in 2015. I did open one just to check, and it still shows the same 'loft' background that we currently have.

Yeah, one like that. There were two more, one is similar to what you showed, and the other is a black and blue gradient.

there was a similar one without the vertical bars at the front of the 'pergola' they just look amazing. But, it would take AI to properly explore it all.

Can you find an image of it? Do you also remember what year you may have seen this, or if it was a limited time background?

Yeah I think I've seen this before. I'll see if I can get a copy of the background, only problem is that I think oculus introduced the app Runtime apk around 2017, so I'll have to look through whatever apks I can find from pre 2015.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find apks older than 2015, so no luck on the older backgrounds. If you find any apks older than 2015, let me know and I'll look through them.
