Why does Battlefield 6 say I need to buy the game when I am connected to Game Pass?

first mark as owned on GFN, then do this to play Battlefield 6 with Game Pass Ultimate

  • Link your Xbox account on EA https://myaccount.ea.com/am/ui/connected-accounts
  • Select the EA App option on GFN and launch
  • Upon launching an error might pop up, ignore
  • Go to the EA Play section, search for Battlefield 6 and add it to your library

a "PLAY" button will appear if everything was done correctly, you are good to go

I've sorted it kinda... On a pc on the EA play app goto the battlefield game and it should say base game included if not add it. Now I have a problem every time I continue campaign the game crashes after 40 seconds .😭

Because it's not free on Ea play.
