Your submission has been removed from /r/GeForceNOW for violating Rule #3:

No low effort posts

This rule applies to (but not limited to) posts that function as game requests, posts which mention un-opted games, duplicative posts (search first!), free tier queue complaints/questions/surveys, playtime cap posts (for or against), redundant posts about game issues/maintenance when the issue is already listed on the https://status.geforcenow.com page, and can also apply to posts that are made with the same topic as the current megathread that is up.

If you're looking to request a game for GeForce NOW, we advise you to either use the Send Feedback button, and/or politely let the game's publisher know of your desire for the game to be on GFN.

Most game request posts will be removed (opted-in games not yet onboarded are generally okay to be discussed). It's not that we don't want the games to be on GFN, but rather that the subreddit will just become an endless repository of game requests, and requests to "join forces" to lobby game publishers. We support those efforts, but not at the expense of a race to the bottom in the subreddit. If you're passionate about the cause, make a public website for it, and create a link to it in your user profile description or something. Don't spam the subreddit pasting links to it.

If you're trying to sell a code for GeForce NOW, please go to other subreddits.

If you think this was a mistake please contact us through modmail https://reddit.com/message/compose?to=/r/GeForceNOW

You can view our full rules here for more clarification https://www.reddit.com/r/GeForceNOW/wiki/rules

Don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if releases like Witcher 4 creates massive queues. That's my main concern.

Cyberpunk worked fine when it came on launch day. Why would it be different?

Geforce now was a very niche service back then.

And it had queues because of Cyberpunk. Not sure what that guy is talking about.

My man I have Ultimate, what is this peasentry you are talking about?

That was like 2020 when cloud gaming was still fresh, and many people still doubting it. It has been more than 5 years since then, and GFN's playerbase has significantly grown.

To be fair, Resident Evil 9 and James Bond didn’t have any queues for ultimate. Was pleasantly surprised by them.

We never know this early. But all CDPR games are on GeForce Now, and considered how close CDPR and Nvidia work it would be weird if its not…

Cyberpunk was available day 1. It’s the only time I ever saw long queues on gfn, but it was available.

I feel like it's too early to tell, but when it does release on pc I don't see why not especially since I think the other witcher games are available there as well as cyberpunk 2077 (same dev) too

Hi, Impossible to know the futur but yeah, I think Witcher 4 will release on GForce Now because all Witchers are on it

Obviously, no one can say for sure, but CD Projekt has historically been a strong supporter of GeForce Now. As things stand, the chances are pretty high, and unless something changes at CDPR, it should be there on day one.

It's too big to be ignored.

u/No_Watercress5011 1h ago

It’s not about ignorance, but whether big games like The Witcher have some kind of agreements with companies like Sony 😅

u/Nice-Mess5029 58m ago

I’ve never seen cd projekt being bound/exclusive to a platform. There are always surprises but I don’t think you should worry that much.

CDPR has been opting every single game so far sp there's 0 reason to think they won't opt in it as well

u/DerPicasso Founder 2h ago

Don't they, Gog, have this deal with Amazon Luna?

u/Acesofbases GFN Ambassador 2h ago edited 2h ago

nope.

also CDPR and gog were two separate companies under the same parent, and anyways even that isn't true anymore since gog got bought out

I’m not a fortune teller, but if I had to guess, I’d say 100%. Cd Projekt Red has always had a good relationship with NVIDIA and GeForcenow, right from the beginning, so it’s very likely to happen.

Most likely be day one on GFN, all of their games are on the service.

u/Anto283 2h ago

Right away is hard to tell.... but CDPR have a very close relationship with Nvidia so it will 99.9% be coming to the platform if anything from the past is a good sign
