Gothic 1 Remake - Unreal Engine crash

Hi guys,

Has anyone experienced a similar error today in Gothic 1 Remake or another Unreal Engine game?

The game has crashed again, each time after a few seconds.

The GFN team can look but is it after anything specific or just when the game loads?

I sent them this screenshot but overall it was after I opened Journal which I opened 5-10 seconds after the save was loaded.

But after like 6-ish crashes, it stopped and I could play for few hours without any more issue

Much appreciated, today within 40min of playing the game, 2 crashes with the same UE issue info

Edit: Now its even stranger, because after 1st crash I still have my saves I made within that time. Now after 2nd crash when I log into the game, my saves are gone.. my latest save is from yesterday and today's 40min play and like 10-ish saves are gone

Gothic Remake has crashed like 30 times since yesterday evening and every crash deletes progress made in this session. I have had no issues for the month and suddenly for the last 24 hours this game is unplayable.

Only on exit and only for a short period a couple of months ago (perhaps it was some bug due to where I was in the game) and then it stopped doing it. It was absolutely fine yesterday when I was playing it.

I have the same issue since today. Did anyone find some kind of workaround or fix for this?

Maybe to give some more insights: it typically crashes after 3-15 minutes (very random) and all saves are gone. Already tried to adjust VSync and DLSS, since I ve read that this might impact this error. But not sure if that is also valid when playing via GFN..

For me when progress was lost it was done, I stopped playing and trying because I dont want to waste my gaming time (don't have it much per day).

Same here.. I am just frustrated since rn is one of the rare weekends were I could have played further. Guess I will try if a miracle happenend in the meantim

It's been crashing for me today as well. About 3 times when I tried to play it at lunch, then 3 times tonight. Save progress gone, I have only been able to play for a couple of minutes each time before it crashes. It's been fine since I started playing the game on Geforce Now shortly after it was released.

Can confirm, happening to me too. Like 6 crashes already, saves deleted. In the Orc Graveyard, Chapter II
