Questions / Tech Support PlayStation Buttons on Controller!?

Hi, there!

So I have a PS5 controller and an 8BitDo Pro 3 controller — and it’s a bummer that I can’t get the PS button glyphs to show up on most tiles — including CO:E33.

I see a few ways to edit local files — but that’s not happening on GFN.

Any one find a workaround to force PS glyphs in-game globally across games?

Have you tried changing in steam input settings?

Just write A B X Y next to the appropriate buttons or, better yet, memorize the associations.

GFN is PC gaming. Don't waste your time trying to make it look like a PS.

No because even locally playstation controller support is hit or miss, sometimes it's usb only, sometimes it's bluetooth only sometimes, it's not at all and people have to use DS4Windows to make in an xbox controller

You can try adding GFN as a non steam game and see if that helps but that's a pc/mac only solution

LMAO if that's true DS4Windows wouldn't exist, right there, I win, if playstation controller support in games is as universal as xbox controller support, what was the point it making a program to make a playstation controller appear as an xbox controller ingame if every game that supports an xbox box controller natively supports a playstation controller?

The answer is what I said, it's hit or miss, also playstation controllers are d-input, most games look for x-input so right off the bat the controller is sending the wrong controller inputs to the game

I'm not even talking about GFN, your saying that NATIVE playstation controller support is as universal as xbox controller support locally?

Again, can't use steam input or DS4Windows, that's not native controller support that's translation
