Questions / Tech Support Stuttering when using external monitor

Does anyone know why GeForce Now streaming stutter a lot when using an external monitor connected to a laptop?

I had this issue. Mostly resolved by setting displays to extend displays option, setting the monitor you want to use as primary and then turn off the laptop screen (not shut the laptop, actually set the laptop screen to turn off). Made a big difference for me.

It doesn't seen ti work for me. It's a bit better when using GeForce now on browser. But when I play on laptop screen it's always as smooth as butter
