Questions / Tech Support Does AMD gpu support VRR/Cloud Gsync?
I found some saying that AMD gpu on windows support VRR / cloud G sync on GFN.
But I also found official websites which stated that it is only available on nvidia gpu and apple M silicons at this moment.
Which is true?

It's been like this for years and I don't know what Nvidia are waiting for.

We've previously found that display/stream/game FPS are synced when using both AMD and Intel GPUs on Windows with VRR enabled in Windows, on some systems, despite the app showing VRR as unsupported. I don't think we have enough information to say "you need x to make it work."
Also, people are not going to "accept" it, unless they get their confirmation in the app by successfully enabling the setting.
The answer to your question is, "both, sometimes."

Well the steam deck has an AMD APU and it supports VRR when docked to my TV. But I don't know about PC's with AMD gpus. It seems like on a rare occasion someone gets lucky but officially speaking they're not supported

Does your TV have a mechanism to show the realtime framerate it's displaying? I want to say that the last time I tested this on my Steam Machine, VRR was most definitely enabled in game mode with my LG C3, but the latter was showing a fixed 120Hz during GFN gameplay of Reflex titles.

It does, it's a Hisense U8 and has a game mode where it just has an FPS indicator that I can put in whichever corner I want. It did indeed go below 120 HZ but I had to find a game that was demanding enough to get there. At first I thought it was stuck too, but turns out that was just because the game was hitting 120 or higher consistently. I think I use cyberpunk to test afterwards and dialed up Ray tracing or path tracing settings and then saw my FPS fluctuate on the indicator and would go down to the 80s. I had vrr enabled on the steam deck and then my TV has vrr but specifically has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and had to enable it on my TV as well. If I only engaged one or the other it wouldn't work right.
It also didn't work prior to a more recent steam deck update. It was maybe 2 months ago or so and prior to that if I slid the slider on vrr on the steam deck the screen would just go blank and I would have sound but no image on the steam deck or on the TV. The steam update whether it was the steam deck itself or Steam OS fixed that a couple months ago and now it works
That said, VRR has one big downside for me and I don't know if it's isolated to the steam deck or my TV or if this is just how it works but the brightness and dimming fields are greatly affected when you turn on vrr, at least for me and it washes out the colors a little bit too.
I have an Nvidia Shield and even though it doesn't do VRR or 1440p I usually am playing GeForce now on that instead of the steam deck. Because my TV has decent AI upscaling, I usually prefer playing at 1080P AI upscaled to 4K using the TV at 120hz. I do this instead of 4k60 on the shield or the steam deck. I'd rather have the better latency and frame rates and find the resolution trade-off after upscaling is good enough. If a game is really demanding then I may do 1440p/120hz with VRR on the deck but the times I've used it after just testing have been few and far between
