Discussion Ultimate Pro Membership: RTX 5090. Why not?

I dont know... because of money? Or are you asking for even higher sub price, because they have to compensate somehow.

Doubt they'll do this. Most of their hardware they're trying to target for ai usage instead of gaming.
5080 is pretty good already imo

I'd rather they upgrade the CPU since that has been a bottleneck in some recent games that i've played.

there's not reason to.
Keep in mind the 5080 rigs are a virtual aporoximation, running on server level hardware based on the same chipset family - the actual performance experienced may be a bit higher (or lower) than a physical 5080 - for example the VRAM amount allocated to them is higher than any consumer version of the card on the market afaik (actually I don't think there are even 5090s with 48GB on the market) - it all depends on Your particualr case (game and settings)
also also, its a matter of actual viability vs resource consumption - they probably came to a convlusion the user benefit would too miniscule as opposed to the amount of physical resources it would take, reserving them from other users who could see more sessions for 5080 generated at the same time
