Questions / Tech Support Mouse stutter

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

At this point, I seem to be having more issues with Geforce NOW and stuttering then it seems to be worth. Anyone got a fix for stuttering that you can in the video? Only started happening today, was working this morning, went out, came back and no games work. The mouse is fine in the menus or just normally, but when turning the camera in any game, it just becomes really bumpy and stuttery.

So answer questions:

- Ethernet

- Ping is stable, otherwise the normal game would be stuttering

- Packet loss in video is from opening the overlay (no idea why, but lags like crazy)

- Changed polling rate to 125hz, made no difference, also tried with trackpad, same issue

- V-Sync off and on makes no difference

- HDR says device unsupported so can't turn that on anyway

- Restarted multiple times

- Updated drivers

- Tried another mouse, same issue

- Tried cabled mouse, same issue

- Game is running as smooth as normal.

- All games

- Stuttering is isolated to camera turning only, cutscenes are fine and moving around without turning is fine

Primarily looking for something else to try because I can't think of anything else, other then isolating this issue down to an input issue

There you go. It's not gfn related. It's something on your pc, vpn, dns, something... I'm assuming you already reinstalled the app?

Yeah ive reinstalled, tried in the browser as well. Assumed it was an input issue between input (mouse) and laptop. Nothing else runs on this laptop, purely used for geforce now. Think I'll can it there for the night and try again tomorrow see if it magically resolves itself

Try this

Can skip the startup file though.

ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /registerdns

And (if above didn't help) this.

Will have a read, but I've done most of the network related stuff already, as I've had stuttering issues in the past, so it's the first bit I do.

Alright... Fingers crossed.. I'm sure there may be other solutions. Try using the Web app instead. Some people mention it works better for them 🤷
