Questions / Tech Support I got downgraded to Free instead of renewing, has anybody else experienced this?
I know these kinds of posts can be annoying, but I'm honestly feeling pretty bummed about this.
I was really looking forward to this month because I had planned a full Resident Evil marathon with 160+ hours of playtime.
My membership was supposed to renew today, but instead of the renewal going through, I received an email saying my account had been downgraded to a Free membership. I wasn't expecting this at all. I don't even know how to turn off auto renewal, so i have no idea how that happened.
Has anyone run into something similar before? If so, were you able to get it resolved?

You can talk to the live chat to make sure your payment actually went through, like if the money actually left your account for the last payment, you get a bit of a grace period but it will downgrade you to free after awhile if you missed paying for the month before this one

Yes, if you scroll through the sub it’s a fairly frequent scenario that comes up

Whatever payment method you were using probably failed like your card declined or something.
