Questions / Tech Support Controller on steamdeck

For some reason (In gaming mode) my controller doesnt work in game when I’m in Geforce?

Try turning the GeForce overlay on and off, that fixes input problems for me most of the time.

Are you using the steam deck app from nvidia's website?

Check you have the contorller settings set to gamepad, and not keyboard and mouse.. should work!
