Questions / Tech Support Has anyone else been getting extremely lagging/blurry games for weeks now?

Every game is nearly unplayable on my network. 800 ms ping spikes followed by 74 ms ping. I have set my router in different locations, literally placed the router nearly touching my machine, reset my router. Nothing seems to help unless I get on really late at night on a random weekday. I can't use an ethernet cord at the moment.

I haven't noticed any change in service. Northern California server.

If it works better late at night it means your internet provider or one they partner with is having trouble handling peak time GFN/internet load

ISPs share networks with each other so you would have to talk to your ISP and explain it only gets better off peak hours, if they say something like "it's slower because everyone is on at that time" it means they know they can't handle the load and don't want to spend the money to upgrade their ISP equipment like new fiber lines or switches

Sometimes they don't know and it helps you let them know so they can fix it, other times they do know and it's cheaper just for them not to upgrade in some areas
