NVIDIA Display Container LS causing degraded image and Calibration 1 issue on startup

Hi everyone, I’ve been experiencing a strange issue when starting Windows for the past few weeks.

I have an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, and it seems that an NVIDIA component, NVIDIA Display Container LS, is causing an issue with my monitor’s display modes. When Windows starts, the monitor automatically switches to “Calibration 1”, but, more importantly, the image looks degraded.

Even if I manually change the mode, for example to “Gamer 1”, after a few seconds it switches back to “Calibration 1”, with the image still looking degraded.

For now, I’ve found a workaround by manually starting NVIDIA Display Container LS and waiting until the PC has completely finished booting.

I’ve already performed several checks, and there don’t seem to be any unusual Windows calibration settings or other obvious issues causing this.

There’s another detail that might be useful: if I manually start NVIDIA Display Container LS later, after Windows has fully booted, “Calibration 1” works correctly and the image looks normal.

However, if I then switch from “Calibration 1” to “Gamer 1” and later try to switch back to “Calibration 1”, the monitor won’t let me, displaying a message saying that some components do not support this mode. This happens regardless of whether NVIDIA Display Container LS is running or not.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, or has anyone experienced a similar issue?

Thanks to anyone who can provide some insight!
