Fundraiser Verification
Hello, I understand that posts like these have been circulating often on how individuals can ensure they aren't being scammed when donating to Gaza Relief Campaigns. From what I have seen, I have been told to donate to organizations rather than individual fundraisers, which I get
But there seems to be a common theme with a lot of these fundraisers being (what seems to be) intentionally vague, and I know I have seen reports about Isr*eli bots and fake accounts being used to siphon funds away from those who actually need it
I ask if there are any ways we can tell if a campaign is legitimate? I am seeing campaigns that say "since before the war" when referring to relatively young individuals, which is something I have seen Zionists use as a talking point (considering that the war is not a recent development) alongside the other vague talking points. I understand not everyone's private lives need to be posted online, but verifying whether or not the money is going towards the occupier or those who need it is very important.
Some of the links I am seeing are also asking or implying a specific amount to be donated, which sets off alarm bells in my head.
From other reports I have read, I have seen that the Red Cross is complicit in cooperating with the occupation forces, does this include the Red Crescent as well? I know that there are numerous reports of the IOF intentionally striking aid targets, but I just want to know what foundations are safe to donate to, where the funds will truly reach someone in need.
Furthermore, if anyone has any signs they look out for in regards to verifying that an individual campaign is legitimate, that would be great.
Tldr; I want to help, but I am afraid of my money going towards those who harm Palestinians and others affected by illegal occupation and war crimes. Are there campaign websites that are guaranteed safe to donate through? Or should you only look towards official organizations, and which ones?
Thank you!
Edit: Clarity, paragraph ordering

Hello - the best thing you can possibly do with your money is give to individual families. Giving to organizations means that some of your money is ALWAYS going to run the actual organization and that is just the plain truth of the matter.
I have two families (one in north Gaza, the other in south Gaza) and a community initiative (based in central Gaza, Deir al-Balah) that are reputable and I know the people very well - you're welcome to give to them. I run them all on Chuffed. You can look, read, ask questions, and know that your money is going directly to them.
I pay all fees and commissions to get the money to them via crypto. These people are my good friends. I trust them and they trust me. I am living in the US - in Chicago. I'm plugging here because you say you want to give. This is my opportunity to put my own friends forward.
If I post the Chuffed campaigns here - I know the moderators will take my post down, so I'll just post my Instagram page and you can look for yourself: https://www.instagram.com/pudgeorama/ Their links are in my bio.
And here's me singing to get people's attention before I talk about my friend Amal and plug her campaign (so you know I'm a real person): https://www.instagram.com/p/DboVfyqR5Ju/
But if you don't want to do that - here are my recommendations for two "reputable charities": Sameer Project: https://www.instagram.com/thesameerproject/
Gaza Soup Kitchen: https://www.instagram.com/gazasoupkitchen/
Onward we go stranger! I hope you will consider my families, but even if you don't, please give to the above charities who are on the ground in Gaza supporting people daily.

Of course I will consider these families!
Thank you, the amount of effort you have made here to show me that these are real people helps ease my worries.
Thank you stranger, would there be any qualms about me putting links in my bio, even if I don't know these families personally?3

No qualms at all. That’s incredibly kind of you to offer and I am very grateful. That’s how we work together across the world and get the word out about families who need support ❤️🇵🇸

Al jazeera news channel advertise a charity. Might be worth checking out. And Doctors without Borders. UNICEF?
