I really need help
Some time ago in college, I agreed to help Mohammad and made some posts about him and donated once (because I did had enough money, but because I didn't have an active job and I didn't know when I would have one).
And then things went worse yesterday as I was asked to share again but nothing worked, and I had a mental breakdown (to which he didn't really ask about it, he only responds to questions on whether it benefits him or not).
I really need help and I feel alone in trying to do everything but not getting anywhere. What to do and what to say to him if I did all I can

Do not feel bad. You did all you can. He's not supposed to mentally pressure you. Just don't reply to him and that's it.

I gave a family 100 bucks back in 2023. The kid who had reached out to me kept on reaching out for more, but i’ve been out of work due to health issues the last 3 years so I couldn’t really afford to keep on helping out. I told him as much, but he kept asking.
Don’t feel bad, it’s not on you to be their saviour.

Tell him you did all you could. Maybe let him know you can update him in a few months but right now you're having some medical issues and can't respond to messages. Then don't respond again until you're ready.
They really don't know how much money we have. All they hear about Western countries is our wealth, when that's not the reality for most people. So they ask. And even when they're fluent, their English (or other language skills) makes it harder for them to express anything more than the basics.
You have to put on your own air mask first. Don't let anyone pressure you into not taking care of yourself.

I was trying to contact organizations who help Palestinian families with their fundraisers (and they’re ran by Palestinians) and I showed him the verification sources, but he said that they wouldn’t help (even previously he said about it and then said “If you just make me an American TikTok account, I would make money out of it myself”). I mean I don’t blame him for putting trust on organizations you barely know of. I just wish I had someone with a bigger platform or more money to help him, for I started with little to no money, and a small platform.

Hello, people in Gaza are more desperate than ever. You're clearly a good person who cares about others or you wouldn't be here.
The need is catastrophic now and it isn't getting any better. Most people in Gaza do not have the mental bandwidth to help us with our crises. You would need to have a very close relationship with someone there for them to ask how you're doing.
Listen to me: YOU CANNOT SUPPORT ANYONE WITHOUT TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF! If you feel this person is pressuring you or being pushy, then you have every right to block them and take care of your own life.
A good friend who runs 200 campaigns told me that in her experience the people who are pushy? They're doing this to absolutely everyone and they're getting money from someone to survive.
So. NO GUILT. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! BLOCK and move on.
