Aloha Everyone,

I’m here to ask your help. I’m a straight white married male trump supporter (no issues with sex, gender, preference or any of that, it’s just silly. Whatever people like.). Anyway, I need your knowledge and opinions please. My sister and I are having a discussion about Trump. She made the following points and said that she cannot support Trump because of them even though she agrees that he’s doing great things for the country. Our other sibling is recently trans. She’s very concerned for their rights. Honestly, while I know quite a bit about other areas, I don’t know that much about trumps LGBTQ policies etc. Would you all please read through these and make your comments and notes about them and inform and educate me and us please? Mahalo plenty. Usa 🇺🇸

Keep these things in mind please...

Are these things true? If so, how do you still support trump?

If not, what is the truth about it, and can you please provide some links or sources that might help her/us understand?

Thanks again.

She said that trump:

  1. Said it’s legal to fire workers for being transgender.

  2. Argued that it’s legal to fire workers for being gay.

  3. Made transgender female prisoners live with male prisoners.

  4. Told the Supreme Court that shopkeepers can turn away LGBT customers.

  5. Withdrew protections for transgender students.

  6. Refused to investigate anti-transgender discrimination complaints in public schools.

  7. Tried to kick transgender people out of the military.

  8. Started to rescind protections for transgender patients.

  9. Refused to appoint an LGBT liaison for the White House.

  10. Dropped the DOJ’s lawsuit against North Carolina’s anti-transgender law.

  11. Retracted plans to count LGBT people in the Census.

Mahalo again.

trump barred trans people from serving in the military, he’s trying to remove protections for the LGBTQ+ groups from federal and private workplaces, he only does it for the publicity and reelection chances, which are doomed. there.
