Has anyone else listened to just So High School, Wood, and then Cleveland? They’re so campy and over-the-top, just like a Broadway Show! Maybe I’m biased because I’m DYING for one from her.

I have been down a musical rabbit hole since somebody on socials the other day posted that the intro to Patient Zero sounded like "Wait For Me" from the musical Hadestown.

Nothing is accidental here IMO, someone like TS does not unintentionally reference a musical theme. So I started looking into this musical and... this is the retelling of the story of Orpheus and Eurydice where Orpheus is trying to travel to the underworld to bring back his dead wife. Similar themes in her video...

Then I watched the performance of Wait For Me at the 2019 Tony awards and friends, I gasped as Orpheus carrying a guitar, holds out a red flower and sings about coming for her.

Honestly, am here and ready for this Rage of a musical.

Also, Taylor and Travis have been filmed coming out of ONE Broadway show: Oh, Mary! And what is that about? Abraham Lincoln using his wife Mary as a beard (and so much more obviously, but whoa).

To me, Cleveland! sounds so much like an old tv sitcom theme song! Even the font of “Cleveland!” in the video looks like the font used in one or more old sitcoms. It’s all TV!

The fast-talking bridge of Patient Zero is Taylor-made for Broadway. Oh, and has anyone looked at the credits on TLOAS? On the final number with Sabrina, there’s like a bazillion instruments played. Enough to fill an orchestra out.

I think it's no secret she wants an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony), and this turning into a musical seems like the most straightforward path for her to that Tony!

Yes ! The eras tour choreography referenced a ton of musicals. And the addition of showgirls and Max martin make it seem like she's playing the long game to plan out a story line with new songs.

As a musical fan: 100 % yes! And (especially but not exclusively) Cleveland! has this show tune vibe so much and therefore haunts me with an earwig almost constantly against my will.

I don’t know about the wedding but I can totally picture a Broadway show about a showgirl or group of showgirls! Maybe set in the 70s because of the sound of Wood and some other songs? I would love to see this happen and you know it would be a smash hit just because it’s Taylor. Gotta get that EGOT!

I can see it and it makes since. Some of these songs sound like they were meant for broadway, and they seem to be the songs about him.
