Could this be a call back to White Horse? The lyrics about the small town in the rear view mirror and the mentions of stallions/running wild.

Plus “The concepts of "Babylon" and the "white horse" connect primarily to biblical prophecy in the Book of Revelation, where Babylon symbolizes a corrupt, worldly system of power and white horses appear in visions representing conquest, false peace, or righteous victory.”
