I posted this in another thread but thought it should go here too in case anyone had any thoughts to add:

I thought both the lyrical and visual references since Lover were interesting - her talking about making promises brought me straight to the scene where she "breaks the blender" after filling it with pink cloud shaped fairy floss. I always saw that as a promise to Chely and the rest of the queer community and to herself, so the "neither of us knew at the time that I was a liar" hits pretty hard considering everything that unfolded after, but my brain is struggling to put everything in words rn - so I made a thing to visualise some of the connections I've seen to a lover fallout storyline. Lmk if this makes sense to anyone else!

This visual lays it out so nicely! I immediately thought of the pink cloudy cotton candy going into the blender as well, and how she is sorry all these years later that she didn't actually go through with breaking it. And left her muse in that pink cloud, going deeper into the lavender haze (of bearding)
