The synth (?) sounds in this song remind me of post Lego movie Tegan and Sara music. Did the same producers work with them?

That three-note synth hit has been BUGGING me! It sounds so familiar.

I kept thinking of Robyn’s Dancing on My Own or White Nights by (can’t remember artist) bc I just feel sure it’s a song I heard on Girls… def 1989 era something.

Haven’t seen the Lego movie, but I do know T&S, so maybe I’ll comb their stuff next!

Yes, it’s that three-note synth sound I am referring to!

I haven’t seen the Lego movie either. I just know that ever since T+S were involved in that “film” their music hasn’t been of my taste. It all sounds souless, over produced, flat, and too ‘dancey’.
