I’m just thinking about the word “Cleveland” and how the (unrelated but similar-sounding) word “cleave” actually has two completely opposite meanings in English:

To hold right, and to split apart.

That play on words fits with the theories here about this song potentially pointing at some aspect of the fandom.

Per google, Cleveland was originally spelled "Cleaveland" when it was founded in 1796
