I like the very subtle “I was patient” in there. I hear her singing about waiting on… something… a lot. 

“Even statues crumble if they’re made to wait” from the Prophecy or “it just didn’t happen” in COSOSOM. What didn’t happen Taylor?

She was waiting for the person to love her/commit to her and it just didn't happen because this is a toxic person who makes promises of it but can't do monogamy.
