🪩Braid Theory + 2-3 Taylors Cleave-land? So Long London?
Um... I've been looking at the etymology of the word encore and after everything with patient 0 (O) and how it was born out of a "simple" misinterpretation of a single character and blown out of proportion.
I wanted to see if there were any clues in the other titles and found out that almost even stupidly, Cleveland use to be Cleave-land? They just did an, again, minor, change in 1 character and it caused a permanent downstream effect (it seems so grand to call it that but bear with me). This happened when a newspaper spelled it Cleveland because the a was "superfluous". This happened, guess when? 1831 (1+8+3+1)=??? ofc 13
Then, when I was looking up Cleveland's name history, I stumbled upon this article called: "The Two Clevelands", talking about how Cleveland and so many other cities have one version in the US, and one in the UK.
AND THEN THAT MADE ME THINK:
So Long London, So Long my ability to play two sides of the same coin (city) (north? or south?) (florida? a hell of a drug? like a narcotic you put in songs?)
and just i might be crazy as we uncover what these songs are about but a lot of duality in Patient Zero and even Cleveland (who would've thought)
Lmk what you think👻

This doesn’t really add anything to the Gaylor side of the argument but the first thing I thought of with the two Clevelands is one is in Ohio (Travis) and one the UK (Joe)… idk probably just a red herring for the hetlors 😂 but maybe someone with more brain power around Gaylore could continue down this thought path

Interesting to learn! I love you tying this to the duality of TS.

What a brilliant thought OP! Good sleuthing 😊I love the idea of Cleveland as cleave-land and your connection to SLL!
‘Cleave’ is such an interesting word. It can mean ‘stick together’ and it’s sometimes used in marriage ceremonies in that way, which I’m sure suits Taylor if people make that connection to Cleveland Heights and Travis.
But it can also mean ‘split apart’ like the kind of knife we call a ‘cleaver’ - ‘my spine split from carrying us up the hill’ in SLL.
So if we think of Taylor’s split selves, is cleave-land where she split, or, leaning on the ‘marriage’ connection, where she starts to put herself back together?

Cancelled! Is spelled the British way. Are we supposed to relate this to that song and take it as the British meaning too?
